Centre leadership appointed for another term
Centre Director Line Gordon and Centre Deputy Director Lisen Schultz have been appointed to continue in their respective positions for another three years. The appointment was made by Stockholm University leadership
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to continue as director for our remarkable organization. Our work, from excellent research to education and collaborations, is more needed than ever. Together, we can induce real change in the world,” says Line Gordon.
Line Gordon has been the director of the Stockholm Resilience Centre since 2018 when she took over from Johan Rockström. She is a professor in Sustainability Science and an internationally recognized scientist with a focus on water, food and the biosphere.
Also, Lisen Schultz will remain in her role as Deputy Director of the Centre.
“I’m happy to continue our work on strategically developing the Stockholm Resilience Centre. We are an organization of amazing talent and vibrant culture, so serving in the leadership for the Centre is truly stimulating,” says Lisen Schultz.
Apart from being Deputy Director, Lisen Schultz is also the Director of Education and has led the development of the SRCs executive programmes for CEOs and union leaders. She has been part of the Centre’s leadership group since 2018 and is an Associate Professor focused on biosphere stewardship.
