Lamberth Wallensteen is a MSc student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme.
Lamberth Wallensteen is interested in exploring the complexities and intertwinedness of social-ecological systems, particularly how relations to nature and non-human entities develop. She is eager to deepen her skills in resilience thinking for sustainability.
Lamberth Wallensteen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social anthropology at Stockholm University, where she focused her work on environmental issues and human-nature relations. As part of her studies, Lamberth Wallensteen did field work with a conservation organisation in Ecuador, studying processes of classification and valuation in more-than-human relations. She did her field work using a participatory, multispecies methodology.
During her Bachelor’s degree, Lamberth Wallensteen was active in the student board at the Social Anthropology faculty. In her free time, she was also engaged as a member of FUF (The Swedish Development Forum), with the role of event organizer and writer. Furthermore, Lamberth Wallensteen has been working voluntarily as a camp leader with an NGO aiming to get young people, and people living with disabilities to experience the archipelago.
