Camila Oyarzún is a MSc student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme.
Oyarzún is a master's student in SRC. She is interested in learning research methodologies in social-ecological systems and in producing research that is located in Latin American territories.
Oyarzún has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant and then as a coordinator of the research area of the Institute for Sustainable Development at the same university. Among other tasks, Oyarzún co-designed the undergraduate course "Governance of the Commons" and the PhD course "Capacity Building for Communication with Congress". In addition, she led the process of designing the institute's lines of research and continuously strived to include transdisciplinarity in the core work of the institute.
An integral part of her professional profile is her passion for mountaineering in the Andes.
