Pattison is a MSc student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development programme
Pattison is interested in how gender and intersectional identities are incorporated into complex social-ecological systems, especially in the science-policy-society interface.
Pattison's broad interdisciplinary background includes chemistry, environmental education, and participatory GIS. She holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental studies with a concentration in chemistry from The King's University, Edmonton. In her undergraduate degree, she worked with the King's Centre for Visualization in Science to create an interactive learning tool for undergraduate chemistry students that promotes systems thinking by mapping chemistry's connections to the planetary boundaries framework.
Outside of her studies, Pattison is a competitive volleyball player and is an avid knitter.
